Grammar Definition
A sentence which expresses an order is a command.
A command begins with a capital letter and ends with a period (.). The person spoken to (you) is understood.
A Model Study & Read Aloud
• Lie down.
• Walk very softly.
• Shut the door.
• Bring me the book.
• Please open the window. (Polite Command)
