Demonstrative & Plural Agreement
Language Rule: Singular "This" vs. Plural "These"
"This" speaks of one thing near. "These" speaks of more than one thing near.
When changing "this" to "these", make sure the noun and the verb change to agree!
Rewrite each sentence, changing this to these and making all words agree:
1. This man is old.

2. This boy was skating.

3. This lady has a bonnet.

4. This box has a lid.
→
5. You may eat this cherry.

6. Was this fly on the wall?
